Instagram Pilot

Brabant Sausage Rolls...
Po Rudolfovom receptu (original recipe)!
Testo: 400 g brašna posuti sa 10 g soli i napraviti udubljenje u sredini, tu sipati mlako mleko 200 ml, 115 g putera, 16 g šećera, 1 kesicu suvog kvasca i izmešati prstima, a zatim umesiti u glatko testo(pa onda jos 5 minuta). Potom testo podeliti na loptice od 90g, pokriti folijom i ostaviti 10~15 minuta.
Meso: 700g mešanog mlevenog mesa, 2 kašike prezle, mleveni biber i narendani muskatni orah dodati po ukusu, 3/4 kk soli, jedno jaje umešati dobro i napraviti ćevape, isto onoliko komada koliko imate kuglica od testa.
Testo razvaljati oklagijom, staviti ćevap, umotati u rolnicu i premazati jajem. Rolnice po želji možete posuti kimom ili susamom, a mogu ostati bez ičega. Peći na 250 stepeni oko 45 minuta.

Sunday delight...
Francuski čokoladni kolač/French Chocolate Cake
Moram da izrazim svoju tugu što mi je doktorica zabranila sve što volim, pa do kraja trudnoće nema više uživanja u đakonijama...Šmrc! Do kraja trudnoće nema više slatko, začinjeno, masno..Da ne kukam, ipak je to samo 4 nedelje.
Recept:
1. U šerpici otopiti 250 g izlomljene crne čokolade, 225 g putera isečenog na manje kocke i 90 g čokolade. Smesu ostaviti da se malo ohladi i uliti 2 kašike likera od narandže ili brendija (ja sam koristila bakinu višnjevaču, mmm).
2. U većoj posudi umutiti 5 jaja, pa u njih dodati 1 kašiku brašna i čoko mix.
3. Peći u okruglom plehu, koji bi trebalo obložiti papirom za pečenje i staviti na veći pleh u koji se ulije kipuća voda, da bude 2 cm. Na 180 stepeni 25-30 minuta!
4. Izvaditi ga, skinuti papir i ostaviti da se ohladi. Potom posuti prah šećerom!
Recipe:
1. In a small saucepan melt 9 oz bittersweet chocolate, 8 oz of butter and 1/2 cup of sugar. When cool slightly stir in 2 tbsp brandy or orange liqueur.
2. In large bowl beat in 5 eggs, and 1 tbsp flour and then chocolate mixture. Pour into paper lined tin.
3. Place tin in a larger tin and pour in boiling water, and bake 25-30 minutes on 180 degrees.
4. Remove from tin and let it cool on wire rack. Dust the cake with icing sugar.

way to enjoy this gray days...I tried this recipe, but with small changes...I used 3 kind of chocolate (dark, milk and white), hazelnut instead walnuts and I didn't have raisin so I made cookies without them...

Getting Inspired
I love cooking. I'm always happy when I cook and more so when I eat good food. It brings comfort knowing when you mix certain ingredients you'll get something delicious in the end. Cooking is the small luxury you can afford every day, using the best quality ingredients and indulging yourself. This rainy summer days where perfect excuse to stay home and watch some of my favorite shows, to get inspired and try some new recipes....
Jamie and Nigella are my all time favorites, but miss Dahl is unexpected surprise (you fashion fanatics must know her from her modeling career)!
Volim da kuvam. Uvek sam srećna kada kuvam i jos više kada jedem dobru hranu. Ima nesto utešno u tome da znas da ako pomešaš određene sastojke dobijaš nešto izvrsno na kraju. Kuvanje je mali luksuz koji svakodnevno sebi možemo da priuštimo, koristeći najkvalitetnije namirnice, ugađajući sebi. Ovih kišnih dana imala sam sjajan izgovor da ostanem kod kuće i gledam svoje omiljene emisije, da nađem inspiraciju i isprobam nove recepte...
Džejmi i Najdžela su oduvek među omiljenima, ali mis Dal je neočekivano iznenađenje (vi modni fanatici sigurno znate ko je ona)!

Boston cream pie minis, new favorite!
Recipe: if you are looking for simplicity you can follow this recipe. But I recommend this one: whisk together 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. In a small saucepan heat 1/2 cup milk and 3 oz butter. Beat 3 eggs with 1 cup sugar, until very pale, then mix flour mix and warm milk and butter and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Divide batter in small tins or muffin cups and bake about 12-15 minutes on 340 F. when mini cakes are cool cut in half and spread vanilla cream.
For cream: Whisk 2 eggs. In a saucepan whisk 1/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, pinch of salt and 1 cup milk, cook until it starts to thicken and then add vanilla and eggs (it's best to warm eggs with 1/2 cup milk mixture and then to add to rest of mixture). let cream cool before spreading on cakes.
Then spread chocolate glaze on top, I did chocolate ganache!

Ako želite da se što manje trudite oko kolača, onda je ovaj recept za vas. Ipak, ja preporučujem sledeći: pomešati 1 1/2 šolje brašna, 1/2 kk soli i 1 1/2 sk praška za pecivo. Zagrejati 1/2 šolju mleka i 6 sk putera (85 g). Umutiti 3 jaja sa 1 šoljom šećera oko 5 minuta da budu jako bleda, onda dodati mix brašna i na kraju vruće mleko i puter, pa na kraju 1 sk vanila ekstrakta. Podeliti u podmazan i pobrašnaven muffin pleh ili ako imate neke mini kalupe za piškotu...Peći 12-15 minuta na 170 stepeni C. Kada se ohlade preseći na pola i namazati kremom od vanile, koji se pravi na sledeći način (to je kao puding od vanile samo bolje, ukusnije!!!): umutiti 2 jaja; u manjoj šerpi pomešati 1/4 šolje šećera, 1 1/2 sk gustina ili skroba od kukuruza, brašno takođe može ali ga treba više nego skroba, prstohvat soli i 1 šolja mleka. Kuvati dok se ne zgusne, pa onda dodati jaja, tako što se prvo u jaja sipa oko trećina sadržaja da se zagreju, a onda se sipaju u ostatak! Dodati i vanila ekstrakta oko 1 sk. Kada se skroz ohladi krem može da se maže na piškotice, potom se poklopi sa drugom polovinom i prelije glazurom od čokolade , ja sam prelila čokoladnim ganašom (bez alkohola)!

Jagodice...
Chocolate strawberries: it's so simple to do, in double boiler about 8 oz good quality chocolate (60-70% cocoa) melted, strawberries washed and dried with paper towel. Then dip in melted chocolate and let cool! Tip: use toothpick for dipping.
Čokoladne jagodice: jednostavan recept, istopiti 200 g dobre čokolade (60-70% kakao) na pari, jagode oprati i dobro osušiti sa kuhinjskim papirom. Onda ih udaviti u čokoladi, ostaviti da se prohlade, pa onda navalite! Savet: koristite čačkalice kada umačete jagode u čokoladu!
